BlackBerry OS 6 released on AT&T

BlackBerry users on AT&T network rejoice – Ma Bell has announced that BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 and BlackBerry Bold 9700 phones will be receiving the BlackBerry OS 6 update. Now we know it’s been quite awhile since the operating system has been available, but at least it’s now here – better late than never, right?

BlackBerry OS 6 brings improvements such as: a redesigned UI, a faster and richer webkit browser, universal search, new camera modes, a built-in YouTube app, and much more. The operating system updates for the AT&T Curve 3G 9300 and Bold 9700 can be downloaded from the official BlackBerry website. As usual, remember to backup your files before performing an update.
