Verizon Wireless finally announces HTC Thunderbolt for March 17

Big Red has finally put an end to the mystery which was getting a little too annoying. Yes people, the much anticipated HTC Thunderbolt has finally been announced for a March 17 arrival. Wirefly already listed its HTC Thunderbolt pre-order page today and we were hoping VZW will break the silence soon, and gladly it did. There were predictions about the Thunderbolt arriving on March 17 and for once the predictions have also come true. The contracted version of HTC Thunderbolt with VZW will cost $249 where the subscribers will require a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan and a 4G LTE data plan. Voice plans will start at $39.99 per month, and the unlimited 4G data plan will cost a reasonable $29.99 per month. What is more is that the mobile hotspot feature will be offered for free until May 15, after which the VZW subscribers will have to pay $20 per month for the service.
