The first generation T-Mobile Sidekick was an immensely popular device and that is what prompted T-Mobile to enliven the phone model yet again. This time around it was Samsung that got the opportunity to come up with a more potent avatar of the original Sidekick. T-Mobile had already confirmed the arrival of the Sidekick 4G back in January and now TMo has gone ahead and officially announced the smartphone which will surely have subscribers going mad yet again. This new avatar features a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen, it is powered by the Hummingbird CPU and Android 2.2.  Also, there is a front facing camera, while it supports HSPA + network speeds up to 21 Mb/second (in theory, that is – real world performance will be much lower). The original five-row keyboard has been appreciably reproduced by Sammy. T-Mobile’s Sidekick 4G will be available later this Spring and the subscribers will get two color options – matte black or pearl magenta to choose from.
