Great news for Samsung Galaxy S (i9000) owners that live out of the US. Samsung’s hottest selling Android phone will be receiving some Gingerbread (Android 2.3) goodness by the end of this month. According to Samsung Romania’s Facebook page, they will be pushing out 2 Android updates starting on March 20. The first update brings the phone up to Android 2.2.1, and after that a second update will bring the phone to the latest version of Android for phones – 2.3. Good job for Samsung on pushing out the Gingerbread update this soon, let’s hope US Galaxy S owners won’t have to wait as long as they did for Froyo.
