Nokia Flagship N8 and Nokia C7 Have Display Issues

Nokia easily is the biggest cellphone manufacturer in the world, but the Finnish giant hasn’t managed to make a mark in the smartphone-crazy US. The problem is that Nokia isn’t doing well in the smartphone segment and it does not have a handset that can compete with the likes of the iPhone 4 or those multifarious top-notch Android devices. Its current flagship, Nokia N8 is being promoted heavily and even the Oscars were sought as an opportunity to create an identity for the device. Nokia has to understand that it is not about promotion, but about what it creates is what matters. Nokia has been seeking to build an identity with the N8, but hasn’t been able to due to its ever increasing amount of problems. The latest issue concerns the phone’s display as Russian tech analyst Eldar Murtazin has mentioned that an internal Nokia service bulletin revealed that phones made in December were produced with faulty displays. The problem is not just limited to the Flagship N8, but the more affordable C7 is also plagued with similar issues. The C7 will soon be available via T-Mobile in the US and Nokia is hence left with no option but to replace the faulty displays. It is noteworthy that the N8 is Nokia’s Flagship model and yet, no carrier in the US sells it on a subsidized basis.
