After all the speculation about Sprint receiving the Samsung Nexus S on their network, it is now official. Sprint has announced that the official Google phone, the Nexus S from Samsung, will be available on their network this spring. One of the few phones that ship with stock Android out of the box, the Nexus S 4G will have the same features as the Nexus S that was released late last year – except that it will support Sprint’s 4G WiMAX network. A 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 4″ Super AMOLED display, 5 megapixel rear camera, VGA front facing camera, 16GB of internal storage Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. No prices were announced, but we should know soon enough. Check out our sister’s site review of the Nexus S if you’re thinking about getting this phone.
