Apple offering refunds to recent iPad buyers

If you purchased an iPad recently and have felt buyer’s remorse because you didn’t know about the iPad 2 launch, we have got some great news for you. Apple has announced that customers who purchased the first generation iPad within the last 2 weeks will be treated with some special offers. First generation iPad customers who bought their devices no earlier than February 16 will be able to claim a $100 refund or will be allowed to trade their devices back for its full price so that they can purchase the iPad 2 instead. Since the iPad 2 is priced at the same price point as the previous generation devices, this is a pretty good strategy on Apple’s part to get as many iPad 2 customers as possible. I wonder how many users would actually prefer to keep their first generation iPad tablets?
