Apple iPhone 5 Not to Feature NFC?

We are getting to know more and more about the next generation iPhone, and this time around we aren’t talking about some hardware detail, but a function which was thought to become an integral part of the Apple gadgetry. NFC (Near Field Communication) will not be included in the iPhone 5 as per some sources close to The Independent. Apple iPad 2 also does not include an NFC chip which gives us a hint that this info is indeed the truth. Apple was looking to use the standard NFC for ‘wave and pay’ system , but there are people talking about Apple being in the process of readying its own NFC format for future gadgets. As far as the standard NFC is concerned, Cupertino is not happy with the lack of clear standards across the industry.
