ZTE Skate launches at Mobile World Congress

At the Mobile World Congress, ZTE introduced the ZTE Skate – a phone with a design inspired by a skateboard. It packs a 4.3″ display, an 800MHz processor, an Adreno 200 GPU for enhanced graphical performance, and a 5 megapixel rear camera. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), which is pretty much a standard for phones this year though there’s no word if we’ll get the stock experience or ZTE will be providing us with their own custom interface. While there’s no sign if this phone will ever hit the US market, it looks like a worthy competitor in the budget Android scene. Minus the Android logo at the back (a tad too tacky in my opinion) it looks like a pretty sweet device we don’t mind getting our hands on.
