Is everyone but the Galaxy S getting Froyo? It sure looks like it. Over the past few months, we’ve been receiving announcements of phones getting the Android 2.2 update – pretty much every Android phone except the Samsung Galaxy S and now, Virgin Mobile has just released some good news for their Samsung Intercept users. They will be rolling out the Froyo (Android 2.2) update for the Samsung Intercept early this spring, tentatively March 25 according to rumors online but it should available by April. This update puts the Intercept up there with LG’s Optimus V for having the Android 2.2 operating system on Virgin Mobile’s network. Stay tuned for more details and we’ll keep you posted.
