Skype for iPhone updated to support video chat with TVs

Published

Skype seems to be busy improving its iPhone app as the VoIP company has just released an updated version of the app that supports video chat with Skype-enabled TVs. We can understand that the number of folks who own Skype-enabled TVS are probably less than the number of iPhone and computer users, but it’s good to see that Skype is trying to cover as many bases as possible. Of course, we’re still waiting for Skype to introduce video chat on Android, so maybe that’s another area the company could focus on, not to mention the Windows Phone 7 platform, assuming that the next-generation WP7 devices offer front-facing cameras. The latest version of Skype for iPhone is already available in the App Store.
