The long-awaited successor to Samsung’s best selling phone, the Galaxy S finally has a successor, and boy it is beautiful. The Samsung Galaxy S 2 is packed chockfull of goodness inside a slim and sexy case that looks back at you through its 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display, and manages to stay trim at only 116g. Samsung has also improved the phone in terms of software – more options and security for enterprise/corporate use, emphasis on voice commands, and consumer security features (remote wipe, tracking etc). With the latest version of Android (Gingerbread) powering the device (TouchWiz UI of course) and a dual-core processor driving the machine, it’s probably going to cause a pretty big splash when it lands in stores (very soon apparently). Head over to Ubergizmo for a more in-depth preview and more pictures of the device.
