The Android 2.2 Froyo update has been out for quite some time already, but not all phone manufacturers have taken up the task to make sure their handsets are updated. Well, it seems that the wait for Samsung Epic 4G and Sanyo Zio owners will be over soon, with the former receiving the Froyo update this coming February 21st in build number EB13 as it is delivered over the air (OTA). Bear in mind that you shouldn’t fret if you don’t receive it at first since the rollout will take around four days, so you should get it – eventually. Among the listed changes include improved Bluetooth device support, Bluetooth voice dialing, Flash Player 10.1, GPS enhancements, improved OS performance and the one that most people are looking forward to – which is to install applications onto a memory card.
As for the Sanyo Zio, it will also receive the Froyo update OTA on the same day as well, taking up to 5 days to roll out. The Zio’s update has been slapped with the build number 2.200SP, where Zio users are tipped to accept three different downloads related to this update.
