Don’t you hate it when you forget to switch your phone to silent mode when you’re in a meeting, your phone rings and you fumble to hit the silent key? Yeah, we’ve all been there. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to mute a phone call just by turning your phone facedown? While we know that HTC has incorporated this feature into some of their latest phones, not all of us own an HTC phone. Fortunately we have developers to create an app just for the purpose. Called RD Mute, the app works by shutting off your phone volume the moment it senses that you’ve turned it face down. It also comes with a feature to silence your phone while you’re driving to keep you from being distracted while you have your hands on the wheel. This app is simple, useful, and free to download from the Android Market.
