HTC Merge officially launched

After countless delays that led to people thinking the phone was canned, HTC has finally announced their latest QWERTY-keyboard toting handset, the HTC Merge. Unlike previous rumors stating the phone will arrive with 4G radios, the HTC Merge will instead be 3G only, but it will be HTC’s first ever Android-based CDMA world phone (a phone that can be used all over the world). The HTC Merge will be made available on a number of US carriers when it goes on sale this spring. The HTC Merge will pack a 3.8″ display, Android 2.2, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera, 3G world phone capability, GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth. Any takers?
