Costco to sell Motorola Xoom Android tablet

It looks like Motorola is following RIM’s footsteps to get their tablet out to as many vendors as possible to maximize sales of the Motorola Xoom. A memo to Costco employees has recently surfaced online and shows that the highly-anticipated Honeycomb (Android 3.0) tablet will be arriving on its shelves early next week and will go on sale on Thursday – February 24 at Costco. If anybody is looking forward to get their hands on this dual-core Honeycomb powerhouse, start breaking those piggy banks soon. But with a price tag of $1,199 we don’t think it’s going to be flying off the shelves. Will the chance to own the world’s first Honeycomb tablet be good enough to convince you to shell out that amount of cash for it? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
