Rumors of T-Mobile’s infamous sidekick phone making a comeback have hit the internet, and it looks like it might turn out to be a real device. Apparently at the T-Mobile’s annual employee meeting, the Sidekick 4G was one of the devices that was talked about. The Sidekick 4G (name not final) will support T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network for high-speed data transfer, come with a full-slide out QWERTY keyboard (like previous Sidekicks), but this time around it will run on Android 2.3. The device is rumored to be launched in spring, so expect an official announcement this March. No pictures, or pricing details have been made known, but apparently there were slides of the phone shown during the meeting so here’s to hoping they find their way online. Sidekick 4G – who’s excited?
