Spotted T-Mobile Vibrant 4G not the real deal?

Apparently the leaked image of the T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant 4G that was leaked previously might not be the real deal. There have been people commenting online about how the device is a fake mostly due to the fact that stock Gingerbread (Android 2.3) doesn’t have AM/PM in its notification bar next to the time, and the download complete icon is an Android 2.2 icon instead of 2.3. Well then again, it could be an early build of Gingerbread that Samsung are working on to implement their TouchWiz interface, but for now it’s looking more like a Vibrant with a front facing camera mod and a Gingerbread theme. Previous announcements of the phone arriving with Android 2.2 might be right again. It looks like we’ll have to wait for more details before we can come to any conclusions.
