There are already many Android-powered devices out there, but you might not have checked out the MT15i from Sony Ericsson just yet. The phone hasn’t been officially announced yet and is expected to be called the Vivaz 2, targeting the mid-range scene. The phone was acquired by Eldar Murtazin and he gave us some juicy details on this phone. In short, this phone is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm processor, features an above average front-facing camera and also some useful battery life courtesy of its 1,500mAh battery.

Sony’s Bravia engine is also included in this phone, which hopefully will go some way to bring out the best of the 854 x 480 pixel resolution display. That being said, the disappointing fact is that the engine will only be used when consuming multimedia content, limiting its impact on overall usage. With Mobile World Congress just around the corner, hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to get an official announcement for this phone.
