Samsung accounts for 1/3 of Android shipments worldwide?

According to the latest reports, it appears as if the Korean electronics manufacturer, Samsung can be held accountable for 1/3 of all Android shipments worldwide. If that really is the case, it sure looks like Google has them to thank for spreading their operating system all over the world. Samsung recently hit the 10 million mark with the sales of their Galaxy S phones, and with the recently launched Nexus S phone, you can expect them to be selling a lot more Android devices. With Samsung dominating the Android scene with their phones, it’s going to be interesting to see how well they push the sales of Windows Phone 7 since they’ve announced that they will be shifting their focus to the new platform for this year.
