LG Pecan to debut at MWC next month?

While we’re all still waiting for the Optimus 2X and Optimus Black to reach our shores, apparently the Korean electronics manufacturer already have a new device in the works. Not much is known about the device except that it’s been dubbed the LG “Pecan” and will ship with Android 2.2 – which is quite odd considering how rumors put the phone as an NFC device (NFC is only supported natively in Android 2.3), and that the phone will cost $200. Whether this cost is after or before subsidy will make a big difference to what sort of phone will be but there’s no news on that. LG is supposedly calling the Pecan a “ten-million seller” which means they think it’s going to sell as well as their Optimus One handset. Big words when we don’t even know what the device is, but you can expect more details to be revealed at the Mobile World Congress Next month. Pecans anybody?
