The LG Optimus is one of the most exciting Android devices available right now, especially because it’s the world’s first dual-core phone – everybody is curious about the device’s performance. Well the folks over at Techblog.gr managed to get their hands on the beast of a phone and ran the Quadrant test on it. Judging by the results, it’s looking pretty impressive. Especially in the 3D graphics department that went as smooth as butter because the device pumped out consistently high frame rates. Even though the Quadrant Benchmark Standard doesn’t give the complete picture on the phone’s performance (it’s not designed for taking advantage of dual-core processors), the Optimus 2X pulls off a pretty decent score in the test. Well we can’t wait to get our hands on the phone to try it out for ourselves. Hit the break to watch a video of the benchmark:
