Earlier today during Verizon’s presentation at CES, they announced a whole slew of upcoming devices that will be running on their 4G LTE network, and JK Shin, the president and head of Samsung mobile devices excitedly announced the successor to last year’s Galaxy Tab. This time it’s the Galaxy Tab again, but with 4G LTE support. Not many details have been revealed but it’s supposed to be pretty much the same as the previous Android tablet with a few minor enhancements. The Galaxy Tab 4G will now pack a 1.2GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, and a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera. It still retains its 7″ WSVGA screen, Android 2.2, and Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support. No pricing details were revealed though the device is expected to arrive within the first half of the year. This explains Verizon’s recent price cut on the Galaxy Tab. Would you opt for the cheaper tab that’s available now or wait for the 4G version?
