Firmware update for Advent Vega Android tablet released

Advent has just released a new firmware update for the Vega, an Android tablet running on a dual-core processor but was plagued with performance issues when it was launched. The new update fixes some bugs, and improves screen responsiveness, and updates the tablet’s WiFi driver. The official Flash Player is still missing from the update though. With no news of Flash Player 10.1 being approved on the tablet and January ending soon, it looks like Advent might be breaking their promise of getting it resolved this month. Sometimes an “available soon” tweet isn’t going to be enough to keep customers happy. Looks like they’ll have a week to sort things out before people start complaining.
