Dell Venue demonstrated at CES

After the fiasco with the Venue Pro, it looks like Dell is trying to redeem itself by getting back on the Android bandwagon with the official demonstration of the Dell Venue at CES 2011. Not to be confused with the Dell Venue Pro (yes we know all that separates the two names is “Pro”) but the two devices are like apples and oranges. The Dell Venue runs on Android (the Pro runs on Windows Phone 7) and doesn’t pack a slide out QWERTY keyboard (the Pro does). It was recently released in Korea, so its presence at CES indicates that it should be hitting our stores soon, even though no official date and prices were mentioned. The Dell Venue pro runs Android 2.2 with the Dell Stage UI on a 1GHz processor behind a 4.1″ Gorilla Glass AMOLED touchscreen, packs an 8 megapixel rear camera, and has Flash 10.1 support out of the box.
