Asus Eee Slate EP121 Windows 7 tablet available for pre-order

Asus’ Eee Slate EP121 that was unveiled at CES 2011 should be available very soon. The 12.1″ Windows 7 tablet has been spotted as available for pre-order on The Microsoft Store last week, and today it’s also available on Amazon. At the moment it’s listed as out of stock, and no shipping date is given, but you can place an order for the tablet if you feel so inclined to. The tablet will cost you $999.00 for a 32GB version and $1099.00 for the 64GB version. Quite pricey when compared to other tablets available on the market right now, but keep in mind the device runs on Windows 7 and is pretty much like a laptop with a touchscreen and no keyboard.  Head here if you’re interested in pre-ordering the device through Amazon.
