Apple won’t fix your frozen iPhone

Published

Bad news for those of you living in cold countries – Apple won’t repair your phone if was used in conditions with temperatures below zero. A Norwegian had to find out the hard way when her iPhone stopped working and she tried to get it repaired at the Apple Store but she was refused any service. According to Apple, the iPhone is not built for sub-zero operations, so it’s not their fault if the phone breaks down in sub-zero conditions (it was -12). Makes one wonder why Apple even sells the phones in those countries in the first place? Either way, it sounds like a good time for third party accessory manufacturers to come up with some sort of warming device for the iPhone. It should sell like hot cakes in those countries. Have any of you experienced problems with your iPhone due to cold weather before?
