Windows Mobile phone for cops in China

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything about a Microsoft Windows Mobile phone. The folks over at the East side of the world can’t seem to let it rest in peace. A new phone utilizing the mobile operating system has been discovered, proving you can teach an old dog some new tricks. Some folks have managed to come up with a WinMo phone that helps cops with their job. The special “police phone” comes with an ID card and a fingerprint scanner in addition to its regular smartphone features- GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, and a microSD card reader. With only a Hisilicon K3 460MHz processor and 128MB of RAM, don’t expect it to run any cutting-edge games, but then again if you’re a cop on duty that shouldn’t be a problem. There’s no word if this device is actually being used by police in China or if it’s being sold to the public, but don’t expect it to hit our shores. Hit the source link for more photographs.
