Verizon iPhone slated for a Valentine’s Day release?

According to a report from Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Apple could be hosting an event to launch their iPhone on Verizon’s CDMA network at sometime in February, possibly in time for Valentine’s Day. This report follows previous reports about Apple not revealing the CDMA iPhone at (Consumer Electronics Show) CES next week. The Cupertino-based company is known to hold separate media events for their flagship products (like they did for the iPad this year), and it’s very unlikely they’ll be showing off their iPhone at an event with so many other devices like CES. Though if they do reveal the iPhone at CES next week, it’d be interesting to see how much of the crowd they can draw away from their competitors. It has also been rumored that the next iPhone won’t be supporting Verizon’s 4G LTE technology, so it’s going to be interesting to see how well it fares against the 4G Android devices that will be popping up next year. When do you think Apple will finally reveal the Verizon iPhone, if it ever gets revealed at all?
