Verizon Droid 2 Global update released

It seems like Verizon and Motorola are doing a great job of keeping their Droid phones updated and one of their latest Droid phones, the Droid 2 Global has just got a new update. Verizon has just announced the arrival the update today, and Droid 2 Global users should get it over the air or they can initiate it manually (Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Updates). The new update brings your phone up to Version.2.4.330.A956.Verizon.en.US. No it’s not Gingerbread, but it gives you a bunch of welcome enhancements including: device no longer indicates “no service” after powering up, improved audio during voice calls, reduced user interface lock-ups and more.
