Tired of blogging with just text and pictures? Looking for a new and interesting method to blog as well as a community to do it with? Vaestro seems to have the solution. They have just announced the launch of Vaestro Voice Blogosphere, a 100% audio blog network where people blog with soundbytes instead of text. All users have to do is sign up for the service, download the app and start using it. With the app on your iPhone, all you have to do is launch it, hit “Talk Now” and start talking about whatever you want to talk about. Once you’re done, the post will automatically be updated to your own personal voice blog for everyone to hear. If you wish, you can also post your recordings to Vaestro’s Voice Community blogs – The Newsroom and The Chatterbox. The Newsroom is an audio version of Digg/Reddit where people can rate the quality of the voice posts and The Chatterbox is basically less formal, where everybody can go to rant or say whatever they want like Twitter or Facebook. Vaestro also offers private voice messaging for people who wish to communicate with other users. Sounds like a new and interesting way to take blogging to the next level. Will it catch on? We’ll just have to wait and see. Vaestro is available for $2.99 with a free 30-day subscription (normal price: $4.99/year) on the iTunes App Store. Head to the official Vaestro site for more details.
