Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, the legendary fighting video game that caused generated quite a bit of controversy when it was first released (violence, blood etc) but has stuck around until now, is finally available for the iPhone. It was only a matter of time before the game would be ported to Apple’s iOS operating system, and from the screenshots I’ve seen so far, it looks like they did a great job. The graphics have been updated to 3D instead of the regular 2D we had for the console versions of MK3 and Ultimate MK, and it seems like most of the game was completely ported over. There are 13 warriors for you to choose from, including classic fighters like Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Liu Kang, and fatalities and babalities included as well. In addition to single player kombat against the AI, you can go head to head with your friends via local WiFi or Bluetooth. Sounds like a great first release for the franchise on the iOS platform, hopefully the developers continue to include new content for the game over the months. Head over to the iTunes App Store to download it now for $6.99, what are you waiting for? Finish him!
