Previously announced last month, the Toshiba REGZA T-01C will be released in Japan on the 17th December. What’s special about this phone is that it is Toshiba’s first Android phone and it sports the Regza brand name- normally reserved for their Toshiba’s TVs. So if you’re out in bad weather, you won’t have to worry about ruining your phone. Other specs include: 4″ touchscreen (480 x 854), a 12 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, infra-red e-wallet wireless payment, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Android 2.1. And of course, what good would a REGZA phone be if it didn’t have any TV capabilities? It also features a 1Seg TV tuner for your TV watching needs. Let’s hope it makes its way across to our shores, as we don’t have any dedicated TV phones at the moment.
