If you’ve ever wanted to hold your iPhone up to record the speed of a bullet as it flies past you- there isn’t an app for that. But if you want to find out the speed of something slower, SpeedClock can help you with that. SpeedClock an app for the iPhone allows you to use your iPhone to determine the speed of a moving object. All you have to do is calibrate your iPhone and hold it still while the object moves past your camera. There are a few modes available in the app- the speedometer mode where you all you get is the object’s speed, a timer mode where you can count with laps how fast it takes the object to pass the camera, and a distance tool to find out how far you are away from a point on the camera. The app only costs $0.99 and is available now on the iTunes App Store. What interesting uses can you think of for an app like this?
