Sony Ericsson X10 mini successor caught in the wild

Looks like Sony Ericsson is far from over with their Xperia line of handsets. Some folks managed to get their hands on an unnamed Sony Ericsson phone that looks like it could be the successor to the X10 mini or X10 mini pro. Pictures were taken and benchmarks test were run. The phone runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and comes with a 3″ multi-touch display, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and the Adreno 205 GPU, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a front facing camera. Without a dual-core processor, this phone probably isn’t going to be a high-end device, but it gives decent benchmark scores on Neocore (42.5 FPS) and Quadrant (1,533). Its hardware buttons are in reverse order when compared to the current Xperia line up, but is consistent with how the buttons are lined up on the leaked Anzu. Gingerbread on an Xperia phone – who would’ve thought this day would come? I More details should be revealed at the Mobile World Congress 2011.
