Skyfire 3.0.1 for Android released

Skyfire, one of the most popular alternative browsers on the mobile phone has just released an update for their app on the Android operating system. The update is touted as a minor one- they didn’t even bother updating the splash screen (or they forgot to?) but it brings a significant change to the app (for Android 2.2 users at least) – it now supports Android’s 2.2 ability to store apps on an external memory card, so you don’t have to use any of your phone’s onboard memory to store the app. Android 2.2 users will also be allowed to upload files using the browser. For users on all versions of Android, crash reporting has been improved and so has the browser’s background download capabilities. Update or download the app for free on the Android Market.
