SBN Tech to release Android Video phone

Video phones are something that has yet to catch on throughout the whole world, maybe 2011 will be the year it does. CES is where all the latest and upcoming technology will be exhibited, and SBN Tech is trying out their luck next year (next week) with their IP Video Phone. The IP Video Phone seems to function more like a tablet than anything else if we had to make any preliminary judgments from what has been revealed – but SBN Tech are choosing to market it as a video phone. The device runs on Android 2.x on a 10.1″ screen (1024 x 600) with a very prominent front facing camera for video calls. A stand on the back helps it to stay upright during conversations so we don’t have to tire ourselves out by holding the device in our hands. It has an SD card for storage and will come preloaded with Skype, email, Think-Free Office apps, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, internet radio and more. Doesn’t that just scream “tablet” to you? We’ll just have to see what makes it a video phone next week.
