Samsung to release bada 2.0 next year

Samsung has just announced the new features that they will be implementing in the next version of their bada operating system. Currently at version 1.2 (which is being sold with the Wave II), Samsung will be releasing version 2.0 of the bada OS next year. The next version of their proprietary operating system will have: multitasking, an all new SDK, HTML 5 and FlashLite 4 support, an improved UI, NFC, speech recognition, push notification and much more. In addition to releasing bada 2.0, the Korean manufacturer aim to sell 10 million Wave devices in the first half of 2011. Considering that they sold over 5 million units this year alone, I wonder how they aim to hit the 10 million+ mark, especially when their phones are going up against other Samsung Android/Windows Phone 7 devices. I guess we’ll just have to see. Anybody waiting for the Wave to hit our shores?
