Nokia sells 4 million N8 phones

Looks like Nokia’s N8 phone isn’t the hot cake they thought it would be. Whether it was caused by delayed shipments or the fear of the N8 dying on its own – they haven’t sold too many of the devices since it was released a couple of months ago. According to a report posted by a Finland-based research company, the Finnish phone giants only managed to sell between 3.5 million to 4 million units of their flagship Symbian^3 phone. Granted, 4 million isn’t bad – but when compared to Nokia’s competitors – the Apple iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy S – they haven’t sold as many phones in the same amount of time. Well, a new year is beginning, let’s hope Nokia learns from its mistakes and starts a fresh. After all, Nokia switched a handful of its management roster, and have made some significant changes to the company. Now let’s see if they can stay relevant in the smartphone wars.
