Nexus S release date delayed to December 22 but will be cheaper

For all those in the UK who have been waiting with bated breath for your Nexus S to arrive today, sorry to say that you’ll have to wait for another 2 days. There hasn’t been an official announcement about the cause of the delay, but most probably the delay of the phones can be attributed to the weather. The Nexus S will only reach Carphone Warehouse stores on December 22. But there’s some good news to be had- the Android 2.3 phone can be purchased for £429 ($665) instead of the originally listed price of £549($851). This price cut should make up for the 2-day delay. Now let’s hope they stick to the December 22 date.
