The Carphone Warehouse has just announced that the Samsung Nexus S is now available for pre-order in the UK. In case you haven’t heard, the Nexus S is the next Android flagship phone, built by a collaboration of Google and Samsung. The Samsung Nexus S runs stock Android 2.3, on a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor with a 4″ Super AMOLED Contour Display, 512MB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Near Field Communication, a 5 megapixel camera with flash, and a VGA front facing camera. Prices range from free on contract to £549.95 off-contract. At least folks in the UK won’t have to line up in the wee hours of the morning just to make sure they get one on launch day.
