In another CES-related announcement, it appears that NEC will be unveiling a slew of new Android products at the upcoming show in January. The Japanese electronics giant plan to unveil the world’s first dual-screen Android tablet at the show- it’s going to be interesting to see how that plays out. It is rumored to have two 7″ touchscreens, WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, multitasking with the ability to run different programs on each screen and will use the stylus for input. In addition to the dual-screen tablet, they will also be revealing their single screen Cloud Communicator Tablet (spotted earlier this year) – hopefully they’ve made some improvements over the prototype since they first showed it to the public. Other products NEC were touted to reveal are- an Android-powered notebook, an NEC Home Gateway Solution and NEC BIGLOBE’s “andronavi” – an Android app marketplace (do we really need another app store for Android?). Stay tuned as we’ll keep you posted when we get more details.
