New LG Star/Optimus 2X videos leaked

After being officially announced in a press release yesterday, a whole bunch of LG Star/Optimus 2X videos have been discovered online. The Optimus 2X just blazes through its competitors as usual, and looks good doing it. The phone also supports HDMI output, which is evident in the videos, and it takes part in another benchmark test vs the Galaxy S and puts the latter’s capped frame rate to shame (the Galaxy S is capped at 56 FPS). This phone seems like the dream phone to get right now, though it’s unlikely we’ll see it on our shores anytime soon. All LG needs to do is make sure that Gingerbread arrives on the device and we have a winner on our hands. Videos after the break:
