Kno tablet shipping out today

The dual (and single) screened Kno tablets that have been available to pre-order for awhile will finally ship today. These Linux tablets aimed at college/university students were meant to replace all the heavy textbooks they have to lug around. In addition to being a textbook reader, it also acts as a web browser, note-taker and calculator. It also supports stylus based input, so writing and drawing isn’t going to be a problem. With a Linux operating system installed on the tablet, you can pretty much do anything a desktop machine can, though if you opt for the dual screen version, I’m not sure if the battery can hold out for a whole day of lectures.
