Huawei IDEOS finally launches in UK

The Huawei IDEOS (better known as the T-Mobile Comet here) that arrived on our shores early last month has finally reached the United Kingdom. Just in time for Christmas, users can pick up this budget level Android phone, unlocked, for a cool £149 ($235) or for free on a contract. The Huawei IDEOS has a 2.8″ touchscreen, Android 2.2, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1,200mAh battery. When the phone was announced a few months ago, it looked like a good phone to get into Android. But since then, LG seems to have overshadowed the device with their Optimus One Android phones by launching first. With a few months being a long time especially in the world of smartphones, people aren’t going to wait around forever for a new phone. Anyway, if you’re from the UK and you’re interested in purchasing the Huawei IDEOS, head here. For those of you using the Comet on T-Mobile, how’s the phone coming along?
