HTC Incredible HD might be renamed as Thunderbolt 4G?

Some folks with sharp eyes noticed an HTC ad done in the same style as their teaser page revealed last week, and tried clicking on it. However, the ad led to a “404 page not found” page on the HTC website. Upon closer inspection of the URL, they discovered something interesting. The URL: http://www.htc.com/4G?extcid=Thunderbolt-4G-Disp refers to something called the Thunderbolt 4G. Previously we only knew about the device as the Incredible HD, and this looks like it could be a new official name for the phone. It also fits in very well with the ad’s copy: “It’s not your dream phone. It’s the one after that.” Either way, whatever the phone will be called, I’m sure it’s going to have the attention of the crowd at CES next week. An Android phone on Verizon’s 4G network? Bring it on.
