Gorillaz releases album recorded with iPad for free

Published

Remember the upcoming album by Gorillaz that was completely recorded on an iPad? Well, they promised to release the album for free on Christmas, and they did. Their iPad album is now available for those signed up on their mailing list and can be downloaded if you’re in the band’s fan club. The band used a whole bunch of different apps to record the 15-track album, on their 32 day tour in North America this year. They used apps like: Speak It!, SoundyThingie, Mugician, Solo Synth, Synth, Funk Box, Gliss, AmpliTube, Xenon, iElectribe, BS-16i, M3000 HD, Cleartune, iOrgel HD, Olsynth, StudioMiniXI, BassLine, Harmonizer, Dub Siren Pro, and Moog Filatron. It looks like they spent a fortune on apps. Head here if you’re interested in listening to it.
