Google’s YouTube app updated for Symbian^3

Published

on

The long-awaited app to watch YouTube videos on your Symbian^3 phone is now here. Previously only working on older Symbian (S60) phones, the app will now work with your N8 or any other Symbian^3 phone you have. In addition to being able to login your account to use your favorites and other account features, the app now supports higher quality streams on your device (of course that depends on the source video as well). It’s good to know that Symbian is still being supported by larger companies, despite its struggling status. Head over to m.google.com with your phone and hit “YouTube” to download the latest version of the app on your phone. It should install over your previous version of the app without any problems. Let us know what you think of the latest version of the app.
