Google Books now available for iOS and Android

Google’s recently launched eBookstore can now be accessed on your iOS or Android device. The official app, Google Books, has just been made available for download on the iTunes App Store and Android Market. Downloading the app will give you instant access to Google’s library of over 3 million books. If you fancy the idea of reading books on your mobile device or tablet, this app is right up your alley. It doesn’t stray too far away from other eBook readers (i.e. iBooks and Kindle) so you should feel right at home if you use those apps. Features of the app: search within the books, adjustable font sizes and a night reading mode. With so many different bookstores available at one time, it looks like consumers are going to have a ball of a time looking for the same book in each store just to find the best prices. I wonder when we’ll reach a point where there are too many of them. Anyway, for mobile access to Google Books, just look for it on the iTunes App Store or Android Market for the great price of free.
