Ex-Nokia CEO won’t ever buy an iPhone

The unofficial Nokia blog decided to check in on Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo – the former CEO of Nokia, to see how he’s been doing. Turns out he’s having a great time relaxing from his stressful job as head of the Finnish mobile phone giant. He’s been busy shopping, playing tennis, watching horse racing and reading. When it came to questions about his current phone, he revealed that he’s still using a Nokia E7 that he was allowed to keep after his departure. Looks like his loyalty hasn’t changed one bit, and he was quoted saying “I don’t think I’ll ever buy an iPhone.”  I wonder what would happen if Steve Jobs sent an iPhone his way as a Christmas present? Not that it’s Kallasvuo’s problem anymore but Nokia could probably learn a thing or two from the iPhone if they want to stay relevant in the smartphone world. Things aren’t looking too good for them at the moment, and they really need to innovate to survive.
